Colorado Tartan Day is almost upon us and the weather looks perfect. Come and see! I am also adding a fourth event, the Wyoming Pop Culture Con — something different that looks like a lot of fun! Until then, my Etsy shop is busy as always, so come visit me online. Also see our separate shop for accessories I don't sew: Wardrobe Stash.

So far this is already a better year, and I expect to be back to THREE events in 2024. Until then, my Etsy shop is busy as always, so come visit me online. And now we are starting a separate shop for accessories I don't sew: Wardrobe Stash.

 Friday, April 28, 2023

After a Fall and Winter with very serious health issues, I do not have the inventory or stamina to do a lot of events this year. So...there will be ONE ONLY — the Northglenn Pirate Fest. Come see me there! In the meantime, my Etsy shop is busy, so come visit me online.

 Friday, January 28, 2022

Things are looking up! Three events have confirmed for this year. In the meantime, my Etsy shop is busy, so come visit me there.

 Saturday, May 9, 2021

Down to one scheduled event for the year as St. Brigit has canceled. My Etsy shop is busy though, so come visit me there.

 Tuesday, March 16, 2021

Without getting my hopes too high, there are now two events scheduled (September) this year. It will be so great when I get to see all of you again! I got a terrific new sewing stuidio last year and have been building up quite an inventory. I also have slowed enough lately to start filling my Etsy shop, so you can take a look right now.

 Wednesday, July 22, 2020

The perfect storm has struck: the last of my events for 2020 has been canceled. They all went down like dominoes. I certainly didn't intend to take a year off, but I have been sewing straight through in my new studio and should have a wonderful selection when events start happening again.

 Wednesday, May 27, 2020

The dominoes keep falling. At this point only the Northglen Pirate Fest is still on, in September. In the meantime I will be reopening my Etsy store soon. Be well and be positive!

 Wednesday, May 6, 2020

And another one bites the dust. My third event has also been cancelled. So everyone stay safe, which is what all this is about!

 Sunday, April 12, 2020

A difficult season for events...like everything else. So far our first two have been canceled. Stay tuned to see what happens next. I hope you are all safe and well, and I'll see you when this all has passed.

 Thursday, April 4, 2019

Our first event of the season is upon us. Come visit Colorado Tartan Day, April 13-14!

 Monday, August 15, 2018

Too busy to post here regularly. But I am adding a new event — St. Brigit's Celtic Festival. Come join us!

 Wednesday, February 5, 2018

No Anomaly Con to start the season — it has been relegated to history. Come join me at Colorado Tartan Day in April. It's a lovely event!

 Monday, May 1, 2017

Just added a last minute Steampunk event which should be fun! It's one-day, 8-hours, in a marvelous location — the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden. Come play with us! (And marvel at the museum from the Age of Steam...and the wonderful new mural by one of our best friends, Michael Young.)

 Tuesday, March 7, 2017

Happy with the lineup for this year! As usual, I start with Anomaly Con, which is THE Steampunk event in Northern Colorado. Next, Colorado Tartan Day is a fun Celtic Festival. Colorado Medieval Festival is a great medieval fantasy event. Elizabeth Celtic Festival is back; I LOVE that one but could not work out being there last year. And new for me will be the City of Northglenn Pirate Fest. If you know it, come and show me around. If you don't, come join me in exploring it.

 Tuesday, June 7, 2016

Sadly I have had to drop an event — the Elizabeth Celtic Festival. I LOVE that one but...just cannot work out being there this year.

 Monday, February 29, 2016

Just added two more events to my schedule, making an all-time high of seven. OK, one is maybe a half event: the October craft fair at my Mother's church. But if you decide you should have bought something at an earlier event, this will be a bonus opportunity to get it.

 Friday, February 19, 2016

A year since I have posted? Oh my. Last year I took a second job, lost my sewing space for most of the year, and landed some significant acting roles. I have been sewing all Winter, and have a good stock of fun clothes to start the season. We kick it off with Denver's wounderful steampunk event, Anomaly Con. See you there!

 Sunday, February 1, 2015

New Year, New Schedule. A Steampunk Convention with a Twist will be the first event. It's new and exciting...join me in getting it off to a good start!

 Friday, August 27, 2014

I finally get to do the Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater this year. See you there!

 Friday, August 1, 2014

Middle Platte Renaissance Faire is new for me this year. It has a great reputation; I hope you will join me to see what it is like!

 Monday, April 14, 2014

With disappointment, I am dropping Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire from my schedule this year. With a regular job and a thousand-mile round trip I could manage one weekend only. And with vendor fees jumping significantly this year I simply cannot justify the time and expense.

 Monday, March 17, 2014

A nice lineup of events has finally come together, starting with Denver's premier Steampunk event, Anomaly Con...in less than two weeks! Five more events will follow this year.

 Sunday, January 2, 2014

What an amazing fast Fall and Winter this has been as our town recovers from the 1000-year flood. This year's event schedule is coming together and I have been working on new designs for it. I'm excited!

 Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Sadly I have had to cancel participating in the Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater. Living in Estes Park, I am now cut off from access to my sales materials and much of my merchandise without a far greater effort than I can manage at the moment. The 1000-year-flood which hit us has ripped out both state highways that gave access to the east of us.

 Tuesday, August 20, 2013

Celtic Harvest Festival Edgewater is the last event in this year's schedule, replacing Heroes' Harvest Festival, which was canceled.

Edgewater has a lovely reputation, and I am very much looking forward to taking it all in. Come join us! And the usual reminder: don't forget to print a coupon and bring it with you.

 Saturday, January 19, 2013

The tentative event schedule for 2013 has finally been posted. An unexpected move delayed, postponed or canceled many things over the past month.

Not all of the posted dates are firm, and may yet be changed by their respective organizers. MALCon (Myths & Legends Con) is an expansion of BrethrenCon into many areas of SCiFi and Fantasy, rather than just Pirates. And Dragon Unchained is off the list this Spring simply because I will be out of the country at the time doing some English costume research. I am very sorry to miss it.

Drop by Galaxy Fest to help us celebrate the start of the season, and to find something new and exciting for your garb closet. And as always, don't forget to print a coupon and bring it with you.

 Tuesday, September 04, 2012

The dates are finally confirmed for Heroes' Harvest Renaissance Festival, the new event in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is by the same people that put on the lovely Spring event, Dragon Unchained. The listing in the Directorie (see my Events page for a link) has more information than their website at this point.

While I will be at Heroes' Harvest, Brethrencon and Age of Chivalry (Vegas) will not be doable this year. So Heroes' Harvest will close out the Olde World Wardrobe season for 2012.

If you are coming to the Grand Junction, be sure to print a copy of my event coupon to bring with you.

 Friday, May 04, 2012

The Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire opens today, but I will not be there until the closing weekend, May 17-20.

I would love to do the entire event, but life requires I be at home during the week, and commuting several weeks from the eastern side of the Rockies to Utah would be just too grueling to consider.

If you are coming to the Utah Renaissance Festival, be sure to print a copy of my event coupon to bring with you.

 Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Dragon Unchained is over, and I could not be there. My family took care of business, however, and report that it was a LOVELY event! Everyone seemed to have a great time, and organizers, vendors and visitors all worked to outdo each other for friendliness. I am very much looking forward to their future events.

 Thursday, February 16, 2012

It's less than two weeks to my first sales event of the season, and I'm excited about it. I won't have my full stock due to space limitations, but I will have a nice selection of favorites.

Galaxy Fest (February 24-26 in Colorado Springs) will be the debut event of a new underbust corset style I've been working on. The design is based on traditional German folkwear, but it translates nicely to modern costuming needs. I've done some up plainly, some fancy, and some with steampunk sensibilities.

If you are coming to Galaxy Fest, be sure to print a copy of my event coupon to bring with you.

 Sunday, January 15, 2012

Ravenshire in Grand Junction, Colorado, is no more. The organizers put it to rest after a year of rethinking and paying off their debts. But a new company has arrived — Thunder Mountain Colorado Living History. They are having a Spring faire, a Summer rendezvous and a Fall faire. The first is Dragon Unchained Renaissance & Pirate Fantasy Faire, and we are looking into being there.

 Sunday, January 8, 2012

Colorado Medieval Festival apparently has a permanent 640 acre site north of Fort Collins, Colorado. They are planning to open the first part of their permanent medieval village some time in 2013.

 Sunday, May 15, 2011

Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire has gone from MAYBE to DEFINITE! I will be there this coming weekend with a large stock of newly made garb for your enjoyment. Look for me with the Azure Rose Guild this coming weekend, Thursday-Sunday, May 20-22.

 Sunday, April 24, 2011

The Bad News — The 2011 Colorado Medieval Festival has been cancelled. The Good News — The festival owner has a backer for a permanent site, and that the 2012 Festival may finally be in a permanent location.

 Friday, April 22, 2011

I may be at the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire with the Azure Rose Guild. I would be there the THIRD WEEKEND only (May 20, 21, 22) due to prior commitments. Watch for more news.

 Saturday, April 2, 2011

I'll be at the Colorado Medieval Festival June 17th 18th and 19th, selling from my pavilion. For those of you who have attended this event in the past, it has a new location. CMF will be at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, making it a little more accessible to the Denver area.

 Wednesday, March 30, 2011

A big thank you to everyone who came to the first ever Anomaly Con last weekend. And a bigger thanks to those of you who added a little more to their wardrobe! I wish I could have been there myself, but was unable to attend due to an unfortunate chain of events. But I saw lots of photos of the Con, and it looks like I missed a lot of fun.

 Sunday, February 27, 2011

The new website for Olde World Wardrobe has gone live. Many will know us as Round Two Costumes, as we have been known for twelve years. Our new identity comes with our new expansion into a wider range of eras and styles.

We are also delighted to announce that we will be at the new Anomaly Con in March.
